	Editing classical music is not an easy task. Understanding the score and making just and transparent musical decisions can make all the difference between a mere recording and capturing on tape every nuance of your performance, and truly representing your playing. Besides good ears and years of musical expertise, we have high quality tools to perform this task. The digital audio workstations run at a pristine digital clarity of 24 bit and 96 kHz in and out of Pro-Tools, Logic Pro and WaveLab, and through Tascam's DM-24 digital mixing board and Alesis HD-24 hard drive recorder.
		After working out the right edits, mastering finishing touches are objectively apply. Minor problems, such as spacing between songs, song order, level optimization and noise between tracks, more major problems, such as noise in the track, crackle, hiss and hum are cleaned up or removed. Without impeding the character of sound and performance, it's all done with respect to the nature of the music and the instrument/s played. Finally, EQ and multi-band compression for a "Major-Label" sound, and to make it sound well on a wide range of playback equipment and on radio. To perform this task we employ plug-ins from Antares, Cakewalk, Event, Sonic Foundry, Steinberg, TC Native, Timesworks and Waves.
	We charge $55 an hour for simple editing jobs and mastering and $75 for more complex and involving editing work and mastering. One hour mimimum.
